Yc86 Clutched May 8, 2006 Share May 8, 2006 interesting..... do they have some form of traction control? or are they stock in that sense? also noticed that their ride's set up quite low and for such rough roads... they should be feeling every grain of sand on their butts? BMW320i Neutral Newbie May 9, 2006 Author Share May 9, 2006 I don't think its traction control but rather Launch Control. Yeah the ride height is low but they have heaps of spare bumpers for any parts replacement.

Andchu Neutral Newbie May 10, 2006 Share May 10, 2006 (edited) yeah... Been keeping up with WRC 2006. They just completed Argentina. Looks like Sebastian Leob might win this round. Lets monitor and see... Well, I think the coming Argentina Rally, Ford's Marcus Gronholm might win..... Edited May 10, 2006 by Andchu
Linus Clutched June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 i still missed this guy. http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2003/04/...1381987622.html saw him in action once at NS car park many years back.
BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 5, 2006 Author Share June 5, 2006 Yeah.. The Perth WRX club had a Possum Cruise. In my opinion that cruise was just an excuse for them to speed.
King 1st Gear June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 Marcus Gronholm keep getting better and better....last year he push the 307 so hard, it break down so offen he is a black horse
Linus Clutched June 5, 2006 Share June 5, 2006 i guess at down under, its easier to get to the top speed. back here in sg, wait long long. really all the skyline/ebo/rex wasted.
BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 6, 2006 Author Share June 6, 2006 (edited) Possible but not recommended. We wouldn't want to hit a Kangaroo. To run over a snake in the outback is a chargable offense. Also a chargable offense to Kill a Black Widow Spider (God damn deadly) is illegal even if the spider pose a danger or is attacking you. Linus Clutched June 6, 2006 Share June 6, 2006 will the roos wander into the circuits too ?
BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 6, 2006 Author Share June 6, 2006 It has before on V8 Supercar Race. All sorts of things wonder on the circuit. There was a video clip on a hare that jumped on the circuit and got blown to pieces by a V8 "Supercar"
Mavvy Clutched June 6, 2006 Share June 6, 2006 You should try and catch the real thing. Mondeost and me caught the 2004 Telstra WRC Rally Australia. Get to watch first hand how Solbery and Loeb attack those corners. Watching real life is like a fast forward version on TV. Its so much quicker ... and the sound of ALS nearly threw my ear drums I think it'll be the last year for Perth in 2006.. I remember I was there in Perth that year.... Only watch the Shakedown event at Gloucester ... nearly hit by a flying stone...

BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 6, 2006 Author Share June 6, 2006 I took a few hits myself too in 2004. Unfortunately the tourism board decided in all its wisdom to end WRC because "it wasn't bringing in enough tourist"

Mavvy Clutched June 6, 2006 Share June 6, 2006 They could have done more to bring in more tourist.... advertising isn't the only thing... Must org up close and personal with drivers, cars whatever... this will engage pple to participate...
BMW320i Neutral Newbie June 7, 2006 Author Share June 7, 2006 Oh well, they probably thought its a self automated money generating machine. I'm hoping to catch this year's show if possible. ↡ Advertisement
