Bro, your dampener meaning the shock absorber right? If you change the shock absorber cum lowering springs, i can 100% tell you that comfort is all gone [nod] If you change to aftermarket shock absorber and used back the original springs, it would give you a more stiffer feeling as compared to your stock absorbers with stock springs [;)] The above is based on my limited experience on suspension issue [:p]

If you wanna to retain certain % of comfort and yet want the lowered looks for your ride, jus change the springs but since you have mentioned that your stock setup is already stiff enough, lowering your ride without changing the shock absorber will make your ride slightly more stiffer [;)] Hope you understand what i'm trying to tell you cos my ang mo not very good [:p]

It depends on what u want? comfort or cosmetic? hard corners?

 

Using lower spring with stock damper setup,will killed the the damper after awhile

 

Best go for coilover..both height and stiffness can be adjusted
