If you wish to spend money then go get a pair of component speakers preferrably 6.5" the other alternative is to use your hu's fader to fade the sound of the rear speakers so that the front are louder than the rear speakers.

Bro, i have been driving 3 honda cars. 1 Civic GL & 2 City. I observe these cars front door speaker is position quite low. You try. if you sit inside the car, try to move your right leg away... or open the door and stand outside the car. You will hear the sound from the front speaker quite clear, I mean clear enough. By fading the sound to the front, you would realised that you are fading quite a lot instead of just 1 or 2 or 3 levels (Driver sitting in the car).

I would said it's the position of the door speaker instead of any replacement of good speaker would help. But of course, bu replacing a good component speaker would eventually serve good lor. As the sound quality is sharper and clearer mah.

For my case. I didn't change any speakers. I just add 1 set of dome tweeter which wiring tap from the front speaker to create those ching ching sound and a little bit of clarity. I mean, this is 1 very budget way of doing it lor.

I have try sitting in the vios and altis. The sound for the front speaker is more clearly than my Hondas. As their speaker position is much higher.

Try to fade the sound to the front and not center the fader position, adjust the fader to the front until you bearly notice there is sound coming from the rear speakers. Hope this help.

The control knob or function that adjusts the sound between the front and rear speakers is called the "Fader Control" - i.e. one either fades to the front or the rear
