Thanks for the invitation. One of my kaki did the grounding also. Same car model, same grounding points. This morning he told me he got cooler aircond and louder hifi after 2 days of installation. So don't think wiring is wrong. Maybe I am less sensitive to the changes.

Dear all

Here are some grounding pics of my vehicle. I grounded 3 points. 2 on the body and 1 for the engine. I used a 4AWG wire. I did it in such a way that I only have 1 wire going to my battery. From 2 points, I joined them up to a third b4 joining the 3rd the the terminal. Almost instantly, my hifi played louder then normally, air con cooler, lights on dash brighter, my head and fog lights are brighter.

For my grounding, I grounded left chassis, right chassis, valve cover, engine block, and transmission.. Then I realized my engine block is aluminum.

Must at least be thick oxygenated copper wires (ala Monster cables) to be useful I believe.
Shucks...i now have 4 rolls of speaker wires! Wonder what to do with them.. [:/].....i used it as grounding wires for my previous ride. [flowerface]

(sry, to take more than four years to "reply" to yer post [laugh][laugh][laugh] )

depends on whether your car, in its original condition, is well-grounded . if it is not, then the effect of doing grounding is prominent.
