for me, peace at home is the most important .... tongue.gif

I wanted a GTi, SPB or Alfa, but CO don't like. So compromise is found in Megane & Octavia.

Finally settled for Octy. Still CO gets to dictate the colour .... at least its not pink !!!! laugh.giflaugh.gif

I had the car dyno-ed to see if my investments in various modifications were working.

No point paying $$$ for say an ecu upgrade and then to find out you're still running on "stock settings" and got fleeced and that all that "power" you've had since the upgrade was just your mind playing tricks.

Just one of the many reasons for having your car dyno-ed [;)]

Some modifications might have negative effects as well, this would "alert" you as whether your add-ons should be replaced/taken off/reverted back to factory options, etc. [:)]

Thanks for the education. Validation of your fixes, did that in WA just 3 weeks ago, hence the question.

Pardon me for being curious as it cost me a bomb to have this,....what kind of certification has the workshop been given or the person testing it, or the machines. And why just dyno because it does not ready or fully showed the capability of the car.

I was asking based on a few points.

Just managed to sold and modify a couple of Ferraris, those that i have shipped from Singapore. Of course the buyers asked the cars to be modifyto improve on the original designed shortcomings. All tests must be varified, Dynos are required to be calibrated by a certained approved standard, that cost about AUD 20K per year and also the person operating it, ARDC is required for the tester and certifications, actual track test must be conducted with strigant criteria, hence I asked you about the dyno. Am surprised to find them here, cause I did not see them listed in the certifications list.

There are a couple in Singapore.... Autotronic, Autowerkes, ST Powered, etc.

Some have different dyno machines ... as for certification wise, that as an end user/client ... have no idea about (plus didn't bother [laugh] ) [:p]

Just like any calibration equipment, it can be quite a larger different when loaded. Send your car there and we can tell, wink.gif oh..it is tailored and designed to take Ferraris from 80s onwards and Porsches 90s onwards. And I will throw in the track time and driver (ARDC ones, me of courselaugh.gif) for free.

What do you think? [:p]

My bad.... realised I was relaying wrong information....

Not an engine dyno ... But dyno at the wheels, but still considered more accurate than the ones on the rollers from what I've been told /imo [sweatdrop][blush]
