Dear Friends,

 

I set off for Kuala Lumpur in a few hours to take part in the D1 Grand Prix Professional Series. Below is a shot of my D1 Spec S15 Silvia.

 

 

Included within are the safety requirements as listed out in the D1GP.com website along with safety protection equipment such as FIA approved Nomex race suit, SNELL approved helment along with footwear and gloves approved by FIA.

Yes, I was around that area on Mon & Tue to do my suit for D1.

 

I don't have a full picture of myself in the race suit yet. I will be taking one tomorrow.

Sorry if I missed you on that day. I was in a total rush. Very stress cos the suit just arrived on Mon morning and I rushed down to there to get the sponsor badges sewn on.

 

Most of the shops didn't want to do as they were all trying to meet the 1st July dateline for the army guys who needed to get their new name tags done up.

Don't worry, you'll see me sometimes at the meetups (ok ok, Gadgeteer dun come and hantam me for this )

 

Plus, there will be drift events and demos coming up real soon. You can catch me at those sessions too. I'll be sure to post up whenever I can.

Thanks. I personally chose the anime design to go onto the car. Just thought to give my drift machine a soft-fierce kinda look instead of the usual fierce drift / rally car look

 

I'll be posting up some actions shots where I can. Hopefully they capture some of the moments on film.
