The problem is ST POWER

He install n bought there.

As my frd dont like their Tuning.

Tune like no Tune at all.

Cant set the Vtec Point he wanted.

As i know this much.

And he asking me to help him out lor.

I presume AFC = Air Fuel Coontroller. I nv seen this gadget b4 thus cant realli help ur friend on it. Y not a VAFC in the 1st place?

The SAFC Neo is the replacement for the VAFC and SAFC rolled into one.

Anyway, if ur fren don't mind to go JB, two tuners who are quite good there. Speedworks and Visworks (both around Permas Jaya area).

If ur fren don't wanna go so far, heard G-Max at AMK Autopoint (Lvl 2) can do also. Got freelancers too ... but dunno how reliable.

got to be joking to find them to tune lar.

got so many Bad feeback ard from frds who went there.

They cant Tune one lar.

If asking them replace a old nut n replace a NEW Nut ( If u r rich ) then can go.

For HighEnd Tuning stuff.

I dont dare to say about him.

U can call him ask when he coming meeting me for Customising my iTune-vs ( "BenCVS" also ME lor )for his Ride

As his work timing so hard to match.

Where got time to Tune lar.

So far he Tuned alot i know.

Maybe i had been out from the performace gadgets circle for too long but I have not seen this before... But is there oso a VAFC II? Then why the need for VAFC and SAFC to be combined into one single unit?

 

Anyway, I would ask go back to ST and ask them about the queries on Vtec setting. It should be easy to set based on my previous VAFC. But u did mention its a Honda City... so dun expect too much of an improvement with only a AFC.. more needs to be done. Setting the vtec to low rpm would not guarantee good performance, and FC too.

 

If Msia is what you looking at, I done my previous cars at Visworks (Dyno-tune) and HV Racing (on the road tune)... both shops need a couple of rounds of tunning before the power can be maximised.
