Fluffy Clutched September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 (edited) Introducing the 2.0T octavia vRS. just to let everyone know what the vRS should be in case you guys go down to Czech Auto and see a different spec. I read(you know from who lah), there should actually be ONE spec. for the vRS. so here are the pics, notice the info display which is WHITE (next to the speedo) and the GREEN calipers which is different. also notice that this one has a TURBO, hence the "T" in 2.0T ......... please note that these pics are from UK, singapore specs supposed not to differ........but they do, let's play spot the difference ! Crummytyre Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Oooh! I like the green calipers! Any hope of a DSG version? Likely pricetag?
Fluffy Clutched September 7, 2006 Author Share September 7, 2006 DSG? please read this from SKODA themselves: there will be no DSG vRS. DSG for skoda only available for their TDi models.
Crummytyre Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Sigh...I think it's a mistake not to include a DSG version. Maybe when the demand goes up, they'll change their minds.
Drive 1st Gear September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 (edited) I think it's matter of time DSG will be in Skoda rides[drivingcar] , but not now or soon as VAG probably don't want to marginalize their own Volks . But I'm just crossing my fingers Edited September 7, 2006 by Drive

Soleution Neutral Newbie September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 Your plug on the SM of CA is a good thing, the question should be asked why are Singapore dollar smaller? How come we pay so expensvie for a car yet we have a lower grade spec compare to the rest of the countries. Unless we are paying for a lower grade spec. Compare Skoda Superb in KL price and what their spec with our, they have symthony hi-fi, crusie control, full electric seat etc. all under a price tag of RM169,000! Same go for Oct II, price in RM is RM164,000 for a 2.0 FSI. bear in mind Singapore and malaysia have the same 210% tax on import vehicle. We want what other countries get! nothing less nothing more, we pay a reason price that they ask and we deserve to get what SKODA offer to the world, not by somebody own impression of how SKODA is being sold in Singapore. Tiewsh Neutral Newbie September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 Just a small correction: Superb (Comfort model to be exact) in Malaysia is now selling at RM 181,000.
Minicop Neutral Newbie September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 Still looking at our own price SGD86,000 * 2.32 = RM199,520. More expensive than the price in Malaysia. Then we get less value of the product. Like people always said, you need to pay more to get less.

EventH 1st Gear September 8, 2006 Share September 8, 2006 cannot compare like this ... the general cost of living/ salary is lower in malaysia as well. Not many people over that can afford rm180k car, while 86k car is easily within reach of most graduate DINKs after working for 5years. ↡ Advertisement
