Alpine vs Pioneer : Which is better??

Hi all

 

Thinking of changing my current Pioneer P6450 HU to a new one (either Pioneer again or Alpine) for my new ride. Current setup is MB Quartz tweeter + component speaker; normal rear door 6x9 speaker and a low-end Farenheit amp.

 

Will retain the rest of the equipment except change HU. But which one??

 

Will appreciate any advice given...my budget for the new HU is about $350...

With a budget of $350, it's kinda hard to find a good high end HU...

Alpine high end ones are good but they're expensive...their low end ones...on par with Pioneer but more ex..

So your best bet is to go back to Pioneer if you are not intending to upgrade to a much higher model. Also, from Pioneer change to Pioneer, no need to rewire everything :) The connector would be the same.

Actually your HU quite ok liao...for $350 you'd most prob end up with something very similar...might as well save up and get a better HU in the future.

Bro i was in the same dilema as u recently. Was deciding to buy either the pioneer 6850 or alpine IVA-200 both 2DIN dvd players.

 

In the end, i went for the alpine one as alpine is always better that pioneer in terms of sound quality.
