may i knw where i can buy spark plug cable for my 1E starlet(in singapore & JB)?

will having a thicker cable improve the ignition???

 

was told by mech that the cable may be worn liao...

if i go for original toyota type, will cost $80, if go for chiong type, $50....

so wan to look ard see got better deal[sweatdrop]

but i decided to get my cable replaced liao at sabre place,

it's a new 8.8mm type, now car more responsive liao,,

my old cable reali waer out....

was "told" that its betta to chg to better plugs and chg cable too. else chg either one = same same.

yes.. tink mus change to better cable if u using those high quality plugs...

for mi is becos 1 of my cylinder was down recnently, 1st change plug but after a few days.. turn black and oily, then change cable...rite now no prob liao

respone went UP!!! but i doubt any HP gain...

btw i use those choing type, silicon type, 8.8mm core, cheap and effective

Hi Bro, may i know how your cable is holding out? Me thinking of changing to better type of cable too. Does it improve pick up and FC? Please share your experience and also where i can get one? Heard that there are now 9.5mm types as well. Are they any good?

i've been running on those choing cable till now,

i tink thicker cable, more current flow, strong volt due to less resistance

but must also consider wat plug u use and ur engine's capacity rite

 

no siginficant impact on performance for sure,

but no more engine prob liao...

FC have been consistent ard 12-14km/litre
