Age1298 Neutral Newbie March 22, 2007 Share March 22, 2007 Hi Bro, toyota starlet 1E. Presently put in NGK sparks which i understand are similar to the denso iridium plugs. Performance presently quite good so not too sure if the addition of the thicker cables will have much effect. Can't afford to spend $$ on marginal or no performance increase la so checking first. hehehe ↡ Advertisement
Rodmansakura Neutral Newbie March 22, 2007 Author Share March 22, 2007 from my iridium plugs experience, can improve FC alot, u can feel the pick up more responsive, but dun tink got HP gain, but if u ram alot, no diff dun tink NGK = iridium rite, is the metal used and the tip same? i changed my cables coz it melt, if urs are old and worn, may be good to change to brand new one, new cable definitely allow better current flow,it will optimize the performance spark other bros, pls correct mi if i'm worng

Age1298 Neutral Newbie March 24, 2007 Share March 24, 2007 Hi Bro, thanks for the info. Been checking around and not many places stock ignition cables for our starlets and this is includes the performance ones. You guys know where i can get the performance ignition cables for our rides? By the way, anyone tried Pivot Spark? Not too sure whether there is going to be any performance increase if this is added. Mallory coil would need modification to the distributor right?
