Once u lup the e-manage, u will be tempted to lup other things as well. IMO, not worth the $$. U will be better off with a stock TCed ride. Less trouble & completely LTA compliant. Save the $$ for your next ride. U really can't do much for an Altis. U prob already hv the mods that i can think of. So leave it the way it is now. Thks care to share what has been done already? Sounds like you have done alot. Are there one make Races for Altis in Thailand? Maybe u can source for a race engine if there is. Conservative Neutral Newbie November 15, 2006 Share November 15, 2006 bro,how modded is your Altis? if its close to stock,i don't see the need of this piggyback. you can tune it to make your car more powerful or more fuel saving.but the improvement will not be great. paying about $1.3k for this thingy for a stock car is not worth it in my point of view. Bros, so, net of it, do basic intake header exhaust mods first then ECU ? If there is a choice of either IHE mods OR ECU tuning on stock, which is better ? As for SC, it's even riskier, if caught by LTA, high chances that ur ride will be impounded hp only increase to 150 or so, still got overheating problem, might as well u find 2zz engine drop it in, sure tear their tc altis apart. No significant gain esp for auto cars. It seemed to respond better to Manual cars. Yeah I drive an Altis. 4-2-1 is good for faster pick-up. If you want to get it, you can PM me I have also installed the sport Hi-flow Cat to compliment the 4-2-1. Results are felt instantly!!
