i didn't know Altis has 4-2-1 extractor? if u wanna lup the e-manage, u might as well TC ur ride. But too risky IMO. Once u lup the e-manage, u will be tempted to lup other things as well. IMO, not worth the $$. U will be better off with a stock TCed ride. Less trouble & completely LTA compliant. Save the $$ for your next ride. U really can't do much for an Altis. U prob already hv the mods that i can think of. So leave it the way it is now. Gd luck....juz my 2cents worth

stock TC means when u buy e car new, it is already TCed. For eg. EVO, WRX, Airtrek T etc. These rides are usually LTA compliant.

Bro, bascially, my Altis is modded to the stage where my next option is

- ECU

- Super Charge

- Turbo Charge

 

Thus need some advises from bros here to see if ECU is viable to be tuned. Thks

Sounds like you have done alot.

 

Are there one make Races for Altis in Thailand? Maybe u can source for a race engine if there is. I know its available for the vios.

bro,how modded is your Altis?

if its close to stock,i don't see the need of this piggyback.

you can tune it to make your car more powerful or more fuel saving.but the improvement will not be great.

paying about $1.3k for this thingy for a stock car is not worth it in my point of view.

If there is a choice of either IHE mods OR ECU tuning on stock, which is better ?

Stock HP is ard 109, post TC, their HP increased to bet 150 - 160...

But family saloon is still family saloon...

 

As for SC, it's even riskier, if caught by LTA, high chances that ur ride will be impounded

 

hp only increase to 150 or so, still got overheating problem, might as well u find 2zz engine drop it in, sure tear their tc altis apart.

ya i know stock is 4-1. he change to 4-2-1. me not driving altis. i drive a Mazda3. Tried the 4-2-1 & high flow cat & muffler. No significant gain esp for auto cars. It seemed to respond better to Manual cars. So delup but left my Sebring muffler cos i still like the sound

Transplanted engines also less obvious if do a quick look in the engine bay, not so obvious like SC or TC

Yeah I drive an Altis. 4-2-1 is good for faster pick-up. If you want to get it, you can PM me

 

I have also installed the sport Hi-flow Cat to compliment the 4-2-1. Results are felt instantly!!
