I'm using it on all my windows and mirrors except for the windscreen. Works really well on the windows, but the mirrors, I can't really see much difference.

But for sedans with no rear wiper, it makes a big difference! [thumbsup]

I used the cheaper Waco RainX. The following is what I do.

1. Used the multi-purpose degreaser [yellow bottle packaging] mixed with water to clean both windscreens & wiper blade. Wipe away excess water and leave to dry.

2. Apply wiper blade with rubber protectant and wipe off excess for both protection & lubrication purpose.

3. Apply RainX to all windscreens. Should dry up quite fast as it is alcohol based.

4. Used clean damp cloth to wipe off excess RainX from windscreen.

5. For weekly wiper blade maintanence, just clean with de-greaser & apply rubber protectant will do. Wash windsreens with normal car shampoo [best is use mild type].

6. Repeat step 1 to 4 if windscreen start not to repel rain water.

Hope it works for you.

is anyone using it on their side mirrors and rear windscreen? feedbacks?

I tried once and then never use it again.

Apparently it's a layer of wax or something .... when your windscreen gets dirty .. it's so hard to remove it ..... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

I have been using rain X for years, and i never have any problems with it.

Heard many stories on how Rain X will cause your wipers to jadder. I never had that problem. Maybe becoz I apply Rain X often, and I clean and moisturise my wiper blades.
