hi guys, will be converting my OPC to normal plate. Rarely have a chance to pay a running figure via cheque so not familiar with banking facilities as I do not have any chequeing account.

So how do I make payment for $11K at LTA? I've also emailed my queries to LTA on payment methods.

Any number plate shops to recommend? Preferably dun hv to pre-order

The safest way is to pay by cheque. Why not ask someone with chequing account to help? Or get a bank draft?

Number plate...after you convert, just drive to the nearest plate shop to do your plates... They will cut your seal and weldings and fix your plate in less than 1 hour. Price also less than 70 for both plates plus removing seal + workmanship...

Try getting a cashier order from the bank? Since it is payable to other party, I think a fee is involved. Call and ask.

Otherwise, get a trusted friend/family member with a current account to help. You just need to fund transfer the money..

i did mine a few years ago....if i rem correctly, LTA only accepts cashier's order...then again maybe times have changed and they acccept other forms of payment now
