Which brakepad to go for? Bendix Gold ? Ferodo Zero? Mintex REDBOX?

It's time for me to change brake pads, been using the stock for about 2.5 yrs liao.

currently looking at 3 possibilities............pls give your opinions!

Given that I change brake pads just about every 6 months, here's my take on what I use. Maybe it can help you.

 

Currently, my front pads are Ferrodo. They're pretty good for stopping, even in the wet, haven't given me any trouble so far on the road.

 

My rears are running Project Mu pads. These give me pretty good response when I need to lock my rear wheels at times.

For 4 pot front brakes, mine are around $220 just for the front.

I think I paid around $180 the last time for them. It's for a 2 pot rear brake set

Endless were about 1.5x those of the Ferrodo, but I think I might give them a try next time around too.

You make them run around the rim too much already... Then early morning when you try to move off, they protest will loads of squeaks...

How do you rate the the amount of brake dust from these 2 brands?

There has not been a performance brake pad that doesn't produces a lot of dust. A good air jet blast takes care of the problem.

 

Personally, I don't bother about the amount of brake dust if the pads are going to serve their purpose

Sorry, to answer your question, there is a decent amount of dust, but not overwhelming to the point of being totally dirty to the wheel in general.
