Cordia_gsr Neutral Newbie January 3, 2007 Share January 3, 2007 my boss has been using them for 6 months. so far so good in terms of grip in dry/wet conditions. the only complaint he made was the road noise and he claimed that it's getting louder month by month

Southpark2000 Neutral Newbie January 3, 2007 Share January 3, 2007 Depends on what you looking for....performance or comfort It's marketed as a tyre having balance of sports and comfort. My personal review is: - Quieter than my Goodyear Eagle F1 (a ultra performance tyre) - Average stopping distance for dry and wet compared to F1 - Expensive (cos' comes from Japan - I think) Southpark The Dude

Elfenstar 3rd Gear January 16, 2007 Share January 16, 2007 Been using them since june 06. Done 20000km on them. Grip is pretty good in both wet and dry. Don't expect ultra-high performance specs, but it still stops me on a dime. I don't know what dealers are saying but yoko lists it as a comfort tyre with grip. Noise wise its quieter than the advans which came with the car from japan, but low noise is not its strong point. Its not the best tyre for handling (it is a comfort tyre afterall- this is where its grip loses out to a sports structure, compound is very similar), but you can still go fairly quick (60kmh on a hairpin with squealing tyres but no understeering anyone??). Overall a very good tyre. In fact, IMHO if i was ever again to go for a non-performance tyre, this is it. Its the perfect street tyre in the sense that you stop quick with good aquaplanning properties yet is not overly noisy, the ride is not harsh and it lets you know very early that its at its limits. Its in the same league with contipremium contacts and pilot preceda 2's (kinda slots between the two).
