find the mivec gearbox.lignten flywheel. racing clutch. short shifter. do basic i/e/h with tuning.

coilover will help alittle bit in pick up.

use 15" lightwheel rim. remove spare.

actually before doing performance, should do handling & brakes 1st.

if all these done, u still feel car not fast, than open engine liao, do hi-comp, hi-cam, valve &spring...etc...actually NA waste alot of $ but if ur NA car can tear turbo car, very "song" even better than having sex. else, just do turbo better lol

many cars for u to tear.

 

if really wan do NA way, don waste time on the 4g18, just go jb find mivec half cut + stroke to 1.8 or 2L.

some mods work on some cars while at the same time does not work on other some.

 

CAI could be a good bet... but you need to know what you are doing else in the end like of my kakhis lost low end torque... making things worst.

 

the other option is to get some device to control the way alternator is charging your battery...

try VPM in Sung Beng at Eunos, near Eunos MRT. I personally after installed it, feel the throttle much better, and more responsive.

that getting the launch correctly and anticipating

when the green lights will come on is the best

way of getting ahead of the others..

 

 

 

U launch first at green light but I will still beat you once you cross the junction....performance of car still counts.

Anyway, I agree this is one way to get a head start...for awhile.
