Do it, just dun get caught. :)

There's no way they gonna catch u unless they dismental the engine. Which they wun do that cause they'll have to pay u back a new engine if there's nth wrong wif yours..

I was told that car made before 1992 are without seat belts for the rear seats.

If it's so, is it possible to ask mechanic to install it? Any idea how much it cost?

no point installing it, coz it will not hold the passenger when u brake hard....

Gaara, all coe cars must go for inspection every year.

If you maintain your car well and pass inspection every year,

i don see why you'll have problem renew it's COE.

Hey, as long it pass inspection every year, who care what engine size in it??

You don't have to "splash" money on a starlet to improve it, it's a very economical car, that's one of the main reason why there's still so many around.

We don't just like the car, WE LOVE THEM!! [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup]

no soot, no extra carbon, no loud noise under normal engine ram If body did not corrode, I will get the door fix, search for the filter...

it seems that the criteria for passing is not as stringent as i thought.... thats a huge relief [sweatdrop]

EP82 was the original starlet turbo

never brought into singapore =)

but feel free to install 82 parts on your 80 cos they're compatible (some even compatible with 70!)

anyway, let's not talk about engine transplants... its illegal in singapore, so you wont find any mycarforum starlet owners doing such things... the matter of fact is, we're all driving 999cc starlets =)
