seem those honda MIT have better quality than those Toyota MIT, izit?

I used to drive a 2G honda city, near 5 years, it was still quite refined and smooth , if it was not our 5 years PRAF gimmick, I wouldn't sell it

I used to own an early G9. Can feel that things are loosening and more noises everywhere when I sold it at 2.5yrs. The corolla, after all is a budget car.

 

I think it's not the origin of the car, but the make and model.

 

I'm pretty sure a thai made camry will hold up better than a jap made passo.

 

agreed. somehow when my previous corolla G9 reached 2.5 years, there were a lot of creaking sounds too which i could not get BM to look at. fortunately i sold the car soon after...

Individual preference. I tried 2G city and vios a couple of years ago. In the end , I choose vios due to better spec and cheaper price then.

In SG, changing car prematuring is a normal due to some policies.

Ya, I agree and I have heard that for Thai made cars, fitting will become loose after 1 year and above.

 

kind of "disappointed" that old vios never rattle to smoothe my babies for 2 years past usage. So decided to get altis and hopefully, it will rattle so as to entertain my family and also give me a reason to change car

i think a lot have to do with driving techniques, driving conditions and maintenance of the car, regardless it's a thailand made or Japan made.

 

some of the ppl i know NEVER do any sevicing after the free servicing by the AD. Then, they blame that the car is lousy, break down easily etc

O I C. Fair enough. Personally, any car regardless of brand that does not fail its role is a good car. Frankly, Korean has improved on their style and build (+ hopefully reliability) in their recent models also. All these benefit consumers like us.
