Chimp Clutched April 29, 2007 Share April 29, 2007 Take a look at Toyo Proxies S/T. Great on dry and wet condition. Very quiet as well. Durability not sure yet since I have it on my SUV for just about 10K only. It costs about the same as YoKo Advan S/T @ S$260 (225/65R18) Distributor: PTS Tyre Marketing 51 Ubi Avenue 1, #01-17 Paya Ubi Industrial Park S'pore 408933 Tel: 6844 5575 Website: http://www.toyo.com/docs/tires/tires.asp?l...99&category=lgt

Chimp Clutched May 3, 2007 Share May 3, 2007 Mine is a Nissan 2.5l Murano. Stock tyre was Dunlop Grandtrek ST20 225/65R18. Not a very good tyre when wet. Got tyre spin when wet after 20k already...
Mustank Hypersonic May 3, 2007 Share May 3, 2007 i am on yoko geolander ht....used to be on hankook.....yoko geolander ht is much better hankook.....did not skid as much.....i can't use advan st bec my rims are only 16 inch.....need at least 17 inch.......but if you got recommendation of better tyre than yoko goelander....pls tell me..... Chimp Clutched May 3, 2007 Share May 3, 2007 Will Yoko geolander be more suitable for a mixture of city and off-road driving? For my Murano, it is a crossover and not a real 4WD SUV. Both my stock Dunlop and current Toyo Proxies ST are more suitable for city driving.
Bieffe 2nd Gear May 3, 2007 Share May 3, 2007 I also using Geolander OEM from Mitsubishi. No bad wor for both wet and dry i;m supprised. According to my friend Advan ST is noisy. SO my next tyre will be comfort based. So is GR80 or A-drive or C-drive or MXV8 if they have it in 17"
Chimp Clutched May 3, 2007 Share May 3, 2007 For comfort, you should take a look at Toyo Proxies ST also. I am quite happy with the performance of this tyre on wet and dry condition.

Kopio2 Neutral Newbie May 5, 2007 Share May 5, 2007 current ride on Michelin Diamaris 235/65/17 with 24k on it. Dry and wet is good but getting noisy after >20k. If the tires are wet and going into multistorey carpark w/cement flooring, you've to watch out for possible front tires skid at
