Magnets and Engine Sensors

Noticed some interesting discussions on Fuelmax, AR Calski as well as DIY magnets on the fuel line. Myself I've got Fuelmax and Calskis - so far no problems - touch wood. But just wondering - anyone out there has heard or had experience with the magnets interfering with your engine sensors ?

Mine are really close (see pic) - but have been running like that in both leisurely and hard driving w/o any warning lights appearing.

Wow, that is a lot of SuperFuelMax and Calski's. shocked.gif

Have you tried removing 1 or 2 of these units and see how does it affect your fuel mileage/consumption ? It would be an interesting exercise. rolleyes.gif

jawdrop.gifYou really strong supporter, they should have invented a magnetized fuel-line for you.

On hindsight, yah. But din know of Calskis when I got the Fuelmax - and guy said 1-2 are for fuel economy, put 4 better performance so ended up with that lor. Found out about Calskis only recently, and guy recommended 4 at a go, me lousy at saying no, ended up with them. Then realised got both, what to do, put all in lor [laugh]

To give others a better understanding of the sensors location.

There's one sensor below the last Super Fuel Max (Yellow) and there's one below the 2nd Calski (Red).

Since the magnets are directly above the sensor connectors, am too puzzled if it'll affect the sensors reading .... [gossip]

[jawdrop] Actually one at most kiasu two is more than enough.

The manufacturer of super fuelmax recommended one only for eight cylinder engine and large amount fuel flow as compared to yours.

Maybe, you can sell some away. Its lasts a lifetimes I supposed.

looks like you are one of those 'the more the merrier'! [sweatdrop][laugh][laugh][laugh]

I think they should not intefere with the sensor unless placed too near.

But because the magnets are strong and guess the "rear" are not insulated. I would guess anywhere near 5cm is still under the magnetic interferance range rite ?

i wonder if someone can EXTEND his fuel line and get him put SOMEMORE fuelMAX & calski. maybe pump 1 time fuel can last wholelife time liao. [laugh]

That I wouldn't know. Probably need an instrument to test it out. One way is to use a compass and place it 5cm away and see whether there's any inteference or not.

IMO, I don't really feel any improvement in power delivery with the magnets. I think psychologically, it does! [laugh][laugh][laugh] However, I do get an improvement in fuel consumption, especially cruising in the NS Highway. Fact or fiction............... [sweatdrop]

Unfortunately me alone can sustain a business leh, unless you know lots of other people with my problem [laugh]

Fuel line if too long got problem - me got that when the Broquet was installed and line was extended to reach the Broquet - fuel pressure not strong enough.

I think both Calskis and Fuelmax works the same, as well as the DIY magnets. Calski is much stronger though.
