Hmmm... I am a first time owner for car... Quite new in all these stuff. Recently as in last few days, i was just cleaning my car and found that there are traces of water marks. Feeling heartache already as my ride is only 2 months old... Erm... is there any hope of saving this? Though it's not a life and death situation, but it looks like i might have to survive and take this for the next 10yrs kinds of makes me mad... Hopefully someone can help me out...

Water marks can be polish away by using the right products from Maddriver (Benny).

But bird poo will be tough to get rid [sweatdrop]

Good luck [;)]

most likely, your car was out in the open when awaiting delivery. Think it only happen to ex-stock cars cause they are stored in the open..

I think quite common . My Harrier the first day collected on 19/5 can see some watermark on the roof liao and somemore it is black in colour .Makes it all the more prominent . So far I only wax it to prevent more of it forming . Otherwise i am quite ok with some watermarks .Part and parcel of owning a car in our climate .Very difficult to prevent because I park in the open at the place where I work .

However , if it becomes worse , I may sent it for grooming maybe 6 months down the road.

Once the watermarks etch into the paintwork, might not be able to remove 100% even with machine, so as always prevention is better than cure.

Go for a full detail, polish off whatever you can then seal/wax so that there's a protective barrier.
