Test drive of A4 and A5

Hi dudes,

 

Just went to CA for a test drive on both A4 and A5.

 

Notice the pickup for A4 is better than A5. A5 shows a litle bit of sluggishness from stop. Nonetheless, still feel A5 has a better overall.....good headroom, good legroom at the rear( 1'm abt 1.83 m tall) after having a comfortable adjustment in the driver's seat, nice crusing 6 speed and a big boot for storage

 

Guess what, the price for both models had risen between $8-$10k more since i last checked on the price :( . Quite a deterance. Not sure if i can share it up here. Just an indicative ref, A4 is more than $67k and A5 is more than $79k ...... Thats a quantum leap!

 

 

Then again, i enjoyed the ride.

With the rise in COE premiums, it is not surprising that the car prices have risen too.

This is quite rare that an Octy would appear on sgcarmart. 1.5yrs old with only 29k mileage.

 

Somemore inside done up with cubit print & comes with sports rim too.

Think i will wait for a while. Was given the understanding that the FSI version will reach the shore in Sept 2007. Hope the price then for MPI will fall a little.

Looking at the way COE goes, it will be a LONG while before car price will go down. Don't put too much hope on pices coming down bro .....

A good deal indeed for a car that age. However, called him just now and was told that he already have a somewhat concrete offer for the car. So, will most likely be sold.
