Nolicense Turbocharged July 11, 2007 Share July 11, 2007 (edited) I think there is only 1 CNG pump in singapore, on Jurong island i think. unless you stay there abouts, its a real hassle. do a search, somebody posted on this topic before. try this site http://www.cng.com.sg/howdoesitwork.php Edited July 11, 2007 by Nolicense

Gilbertaue Neutral Newbie July 11, 2007 Share July 11, 2007 The new Taxi operator, in thenews last week is also a PI. Prime Leasing. They may have cars fitted with CNG. Bear in mind that cars that are fitted with CNG prior to registration, get a 40% disc on the ARF (instead of 110%, its 70%). That means that irregardless if you use it or not, your car will be cheaper. Regarding stations, one will definitely be up in Mandai in January 2008. At least 2 more stations are planned for next year.
Genie47 1st Gear July 11, 2007 Share July 11, 2007 Go for it! Plan which model carefully. Toyotas convert easily. MPVs don't cut it well unless they allow you not to sacrifice the last row of seats. Check with Melchers. They have converted many cars already. The Airwave is definitely worth it. Bigger load space for the cylinder and cargo if you need. There is always roof racks to consider if you want more.

Genie47 1st Gear July 11, 2007 Share July 11, 2007 Blast it! Should have told me. I would have sold the current car prior to conversion, get a PI Airwave and convert it!
Genie47 1st Gear July 11, 2007 Share July 11, 2007 Take the risk and go JB. Anyway, there are so many taxis queuing up, they will assist you should anyone tries to anything ill toward you.
