Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 It's a very popular car for enthusiasts - preferred over the milder RX-8. Just make sure it's well maintained. Not sure if price justifies though. Is it an FC or FD? FD, right? http://www.turborx7.com/efinirx7.htm
Freestylers09 5th Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 should be FD3S..FC more squarish on the front one...
Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 That pic's posted by me asking if that's the one. Not sure if TS is looking at FC or FD.

Turbonetics 2nd Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 Efini is FD model.
Verve 1st Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 (edited) wayyy to expensive, your friend want to chop you is it. rx 8 till 2013 is going for only 70 plus k and he want to charge you 80k for a coe model. unless it has 40-50k worth of mods forget it man. Bennking Neutral Newbie August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 It's a beautiful car.. really. I almost got 1 myself till my friends stop me into considering that.. a lot of "invisible cost" will go into maintaining the car.. FC is one hell of a problem. Bro, think twice first.. try to understand deeper into your considerations. Do not let Initial D psycho you :P Good luck!
Bennking Neutral Newbie August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 (edited) Like many many super/exotic cars, a lot is paid into your "entitlement" to the car. Not all cost are paid for tangible reasons. Edited August 10, 2007 by Bennking

Not sure if price justifies though. Is it an FC or FD? FD, right? http://www.turborx7.com/efinirx7.htm hmmm. only thing to cheer about is the low road tax, which is still low for a COE car. Porker Turbocharged August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 Considered it a long time back before I got my current car. The consumption is horrible. Watch out for hidden gremlins because its old and have passed through many hands. 80k is too expensive. Kena ketok! AND PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THE ONE @ THE FLY KITE AREA IN MARINA! Relagsingh 4th Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 wah... that place ah? all professional kite flyers... i had some 'fun' doing business with them once, amusing bunch....
Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 That place is quite famous for overpricing. It is probably quite a challenge to find a pristine RX-7 engine, not to say there isn't one. As in all exotics, be prepared for hidden costs. Just like owning an NSX. But for enthusiasts, it's a worthy price to pay.
Weichien Clutched August 10, 2007 Author Share August 10, 2007 what's wrong with the fly kite area. e***speed u mean? he say it's heavily modd and have 40k worth of mod. what large inter cooler. cos easily heat up. but it's around 230000 m. he say just overhaul. and should be fine. i think coe at that time ex ba. so bought in v.ex what's the fc like? Turbonetics 2nd Gear August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 FC should be around 6km/litre for light footed. rotary itself is already a thirsty engine somemore with a snail inside to share the petrol. i would say this is a car meant for enthusiasts.fuel consumption is not an issue for them. Porker Turbocharged August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 Easily 5km per litre. Was told one full tank averages 200+km only. Thats farking horrible but hey if its not a concern then why not? Let us know if you get one. I think its a classic
Porker Turbocharged August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 Have to keep some spare change to restore quite a few parts (part and parcel of getting a used performance car)
Resuperg Neutral Newbie August 10, 2007 Share August 10, 2007 dude, coming from a rotor supporter since years ago..., sad to say ALL the FDs/ FCs in SG is crazily price. U will be paying at least 30K above Paper.V on top of that u will be suffering from side effect from previous owners of that baby. so the chances of u pumping in another few Ks to fine tune the car is very high. FC of the rotors engines are hell HIGH. not fuel savey at ALL. of course the performace is HIGH as well (by right). what i will suggest u to do is to buy a rx-8 than throw in a 13B-REW + a closer final drive. that will save more time & $$$. unless u tio big sweep. than buying a FD is SWEET. Please fix a more decent body kit if u do... hehe RE's will look gd * i will be in the Q to have a pic with it. *** from my understanding not many (in fact ALL) 13Bs have gd history on local roads. ↡ Advertisement
