My sequence of change is same as yours. Ultimately end up with caltex because it gives 1 Thank point got $1.25 or something? (Instead of 1 smile point for 1 litre of petrol for esso). Also Caltex petrol got Techron to clean up our car? laugh.gif

i'm opposite, used to try shell, mobil ... later on switched to caltex smile.gif

Think different petrol reacts differently to different car make...even though theorectially it should be the same throughout...the only difference lies in the addictives added.

Well, maybe you want to use more? I used to pay for my petrol using the cards, and whenever I dine and shop. They sent me a cheque in about 2-3 months time. My monthly bill for the dividend card is probably about $600 plus per month. My petrol already chalked up about $350.

Anybody here tried the UOB ONE card?? The card claim that it will pay me back 10% of my credit card spending every month. Is it really true? seems like a too good to be true offer to me eh.

Over S$300 in cash rebates every year

Spend over S$800 each month* and you will receive S$80 cash rebate that quarter to offset your bill. Spend over S$300 each month* and you will receive S$30 cash rebate that quarter. What's more, no points or redemptions are necessary.

* Minimum three transactions per month in three consecutive months. Please refer to UOB One Card Visa Credit Card Terms and Conditions (PDF: 43KB).

so it's actually less than 5% per month shakehead.gif

so it's actually less than 5% per month [shakehead]

Better than getting reward points. [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup]

For example if you spend $800 every month or $9,600 per year, you get cash rebates of $80x4 = $320 [thumbsup][thumbsup][thumbsup] But if you go for points, you only get 1,920 reward points ($5 = 1 reward point) which at best could be exchanged for a $50 voucher and you will have problem trying to use the voucher.

To maximise the benefit of UOB One, spend excess of $800 on other credit cards to earn the reward points cause any amount above $800 earns nothing in UOB One. But I find it a hassle to monitor expenditure on UOB One not to exceed too much above $800 pm although the expenditure could earn Smart$ (as much as 5% on petrol)in addition to the quarterly cash rebates.

I think it is a wonderful card compared to others.
