Luxy is just opposite shen wang hotel. Its in Sec 4, chung hsiao dong lu.

It has a starbucks and california gym downstairs. cant miss it. url is http://www.luxy-taipei.com/.

 

U can also try Room 18. Chicks are deadly and easy.

I, too, go to Taipei every mth. Where do u normally hang out?

I think i got to know the address reading a borchure in the hotel.

U can also take a cab to neihu and check out the entire jiu zhong lu. They have got yellow hat, richahaus and also autobacs.

i usually go shopping for Car stuff (i dont find the autobacs and yellow hat and richhaus has much so i scan the taiwan yahoo sites 1st and meet the sellers instead).

 

for ent, nothing much other than the ktv.... i am interested to check out luxy and rm18 tho....

I stayed in TS when I was in Taipei for the year end countdown.

 

don't expect too much except for a safe, clean place to shower and crash and recuperate for the next day's expedition...i'd stay there if i returned to Taipei.

 

Oh yeah, they have a simple home cook breakfast provided. Not a buffet although it is free flow. It was nice to have home cooked meals.

 

Location is good.

 

The other no frills place but clean and safe is future star.

 

Wonstar is a little costlier but looks more comfy.

Ehh..address can be found on a brochure in the hotel.

Jus find 五份浦.

 

Buddies and I found this brochure in the hotel lobby wif the description of all the places.

五份浦 is a wholesale place. So things there is quite cheap and can bargain.

 

U can choose to a cab. Its easier.

We spent 260 SGD on cab for the trip. Save us alot of time travelling.

I went Jiufen instead by train and bus. 260SGD is a bit expensive
