Upping old thread... Just got my March, and although I can use the 3.5mm audio jack to play my iPod, it's inelegant because I can't control the iPod using the HU, and I can't charge the iPod whilst playing it. I know the JVC KS-PD100 is compatible with the HU, but where do I find it in SG and how much does it cost with installation? Actually, where do people go to get their sound systems fixed up etc? Total noob at this...

Thanks, not looking at changing HU but more of adding the PD100 wire to the setup. Tuneflex looks interesting, but one more issue I have is that the 3.5mm cables I can find are all way too long, even when coiled up it's a chunk of unsightly wire. What's the shortest 3.5mm cable that can be found? The most common length is 1.8m which is just overkill...

not too sure about the PD100 but my guess is its at least $120 - similar to other brand ipod interface. Also

you must check if it allow total control of ipod. some brand only allow limited control - ie limited playlist, cannot select by artistes etc etc. for the 3.5mm cable, you could solder youself, or visit the cable shop at sim lim tower they do it for you.

According to catalog, if you need full control for the iPod, you need CD-IU50 cable.
