Vios73 1st Gear August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 I will be away for 2 weeks and wish to gather from bros here whether without charging (starting of engine) the battery, can my car battery last till then? I was planning not to arm the car with alarm and just key lock to preserve the battery power. Advise pls. Thanks. ↡ Advertisement
Kohks Neutral Newbie August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 should be ok, at least it was ok for a bike after resting for 2 wks. if not if you can always stand by a friend or colleague to help jump start your car, in necessary.
Rev2redline Neutral Newbie August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 Shouldn't be much of a problem... the battery should last quite long actually... unneccessary to key lock cos the alarm should drain much of the battery... as a precaution, just remember to check the physical condition before starting up due to corrosion or leaks... top up battery water if it runs low too.. Fabulous Neutral Newbie August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 Bro.. If you are so afraid batter dead, why don't you buy one of this? http://www.ariestools.com.sg/PB2.htm I have seen smaller version that is only 1/4 of the size... With this, you don't have to be afraid anymore...
