Winsonk Neutral Newbie September 2, 2007 Share September 2, 2007 (edited) I am a Rover fan too and I think I am one of the last few who still drive a Rover. I started off with the Rover 416 for 2 years and change to Rover 75 Classic and have been driving it for the last 5 years. In the late 1990s and early years of 2000s, Rover were popular with its 416, 620 and 820, but the 620 and the 820 had a very problematic engine and transmission systems that pissed off a lot of Rover owners, and this caused them to swear off Rover forever. During that time, I drive the 416 which was fitted with a Honda Concerto engine and this model were problem free and easy to maintain. The Rover 75 is a real comfort to drive, the british elegance in the interior and the evergreen look of its design, make the ride a joy. It is sad of what become of MG Rover, but I am holding on to my Rover 75 for the time being. There are not much postings about Rover in MCF, so there's not much oportunity to share experiences and exchange maintenance ideas, if any bros or sis here who still own a Rover and wishes to share, I am most happy to join in. Hogster Neutral Newbie September 2, 2007 Share September 2, 2007 Things to look out for the 75. Overheating problems and aircon. Fyi, some parts are very difficult to get. Even from overseas. ↡ Advertisement
