Ken_leong03 Neutral Newbie January 14, 2008 Share January 14, 2008 If you have bought from East Gear, they will register it for you. For updates, just have to key in your device serial number and email it to MAPKING. If you require to claim warranty for the device, just have to bring receipt and device. Mine had some battery problem and they changed the whole set for me and registered the new device too.

Whats wrong?
Ken_leong 2nd Gear January 19, 2008 Share January 19, 2008 It mst probably has hung. You gota reset the GPS. Try not keep so many destinations in your HISTORY folder.
Beei 1st Gear January 19, 2008 Share January 19, 2008 Info for all Holux 53CL users, I had use mine for navigation from SG to Penang. Have to select the malsing maps which has more info and more details than the mapking maps. Also for route, it is better to choose the highway mode instead of the default recommended route. Chickenfarm Turbocharged January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 somehow it always bring me go funny routes to turn round n round to get to the destination haha but at least it does bring me to the destination. That's the common problem with GPS... I was at Punggol Field road and TPE was just a turn from there but the GPS (Garmin) told me to go SengKang make a few turns before landing on TPE Luckily I used my local knowledge instead of following blindly Yes...I find tt the Holux only has recommended, and all those you've listed but no "highway" mode. I guess the "recommended" mode is "highway"???
Chickenfarm Turbocharged January 21, 2008 Share January 21, 2008 The new Holux 4.3" GPSmile has a "recommended" route, "motorway" route and a "shortest" route. I know the "shortest" route will bring you thru all those small lorongs in landed estates to reach your destination. I have no idea what is "motorway" route and I guess the recommeded route is the "highway" route ba...
