I had a problem with the car charger the model YF051000 and the red led on the charger will not light up anymore and my holux cannot start up.

 

Call up eastgear they say the charger out of stock. Any bros here had problems with the charger before and where else can I purchase the charger from. Btw mine is more than 1 yr old already.

You can get those retractale USB charging cable and adaptor from POPULAR. Just have to find the right connector size. Think the charger cable cost around $15 and the adapter around $10. Add together should still be cheaper than that old in EastGear. Less messy too since the cable is retractable.

Finally got my charger problem solved.

 

Went down to Eastgear wanting to repair the charger since they are out of stock for the charger, btw its very reasonable at only $15 leh. Tell the staff that I am travelling to Malaysia this weekend so I need it urgently, in the end I am very glad that he swap a spare one ( not new ) with my spoilt charger F.O.C.

 

I think this is very good customer service.

I sent my C53 in and got a new firmware and map... everything is new and i do not know how to use it anymore... search by road name, intersection, building... and others....

 

How do i search by zipcode like i used to? Now it seems complicated.
