Ebit Neutral Newbie March 18, 2008 Share March 18, 2008 I had both of my rubber bush replaced at no charge. My ride is only 1 year 8 months. Found both rubber bush torn when replacing my tyres. In the end they replaced the entire drive shaft......cost of replacement would have been $1K plus if not under warranty. YOu can check with Jaffar. ↡ Advertisement

Ebit Neutral Newbie March 19, 2008 Share March 19, 2008 They had the drive shaft in stock and the hinge is on indent basis. I have driven Toyota, Ford and now Skoda. All of them have their fair share of issues. As long as the AD honour the warranty, you don't have to worry about it. For your info, I had my gear box gear mechanisim, engine mounting and head lamp replaced during the warranty period when I owned the Ford Mondeo then. Fortress Clutched March 22, 2008 Share March 22, 2008 Yes, it is like the silicon sealant, just rub away the excess, it works great for me, did 3 doors and no problem with heat etc...guess, it is the way you apply it.
