They might not disturb you cuz its a Porsche but aftermarket lighting is generally a no-no. By right, even those wiper nozzle LEDs and stuff are not allowed. Another issue to note is that LTA rarely works at night, that's why you see a rampant abuse of illegal lighting. But if you installing DRLs and run them in the day, higher chance of being harassed by LTA. Edited February 12, 2010 by Scoobydoo

Dunno Neutral Newbie July 25, 2010 Share July 25, 2010 (edited) hello guys, i wanna add LED Daytime Running Lights and Bumper for my porsche cayman S from TechArt. http://sharkwerks.com/images/products/TATGTSportRS003.jpg As pic above, will my car be LTA friendly? i seek your professional advice. thanks Nope, not LTA friendly. Any external lights that's not factory fitted is unfriendly, regardless if they meet Euro standard or not. that's how rigid LTA's policies are. The only way to get around this is...if the new facelift or new model comes with DRL factory fitted, then you can get the original OEM ones and ask your workshop to fit for you. Will look exactly like the factory fitted ones. This one may pass as LTA can't tell it they really are factory fitted. Their records do not track DRLs. Eg, Audi A4 has 2 models, the Ambition with DRL and the Attraction without DRL. If you buy the Attraction model and fit OEM Audi A4 headlamps with DRL yourself, LTA can't tell. However, if your car model don't have one with DRL, it will be clear-cut illegal and LTA can summon you on the spot. Think it's $70. Different people got different taste. Its their car so they get to customize whatever they like be it legal or not. Not all are ugly though. I saw a stream or was it an odessey with running leds on his side mirrors. Its like those scanner effect. Looks very nice. ↡ Advertisement
