Tein coilover overhaul quality.

Hi,

Anyone did an overhaul for their tein coilovers? How is the quality of the overhaul? Good as new?

PS: If u have never done an overhaul or don't own Tein coils and want to spit crap, pls step aside. No crap about Tein being louya or anything. Thx.

Hi,

 

I did an overhaul for my Tein Coilovers.

I wouldn't say it's as good as new, but there's improvement.

Given the price of overhaul for all 4 pieces,

unless your coilovers are the high end ones, you might consider getting new ones, unless you want to see how it's done, how good the overhaul is or want to change specs of your existing coilovers.

what is the cost to overhaul 4 coilover?

what are the things that they changed?

It's around 150 - 170 per piece, if there are no changes to specs in a standard overhaul.

as for the things changeg, because I opted for uprated damping,

the things changed may not apply in a standard overhaul.

one side of my suspension keep drop by itself. after adjusting about a month later it drop abt one finger. what could be the problem? went to my workshop they just adjust back the height but after awhile it still drop.
