You forgot, 17" requires new tyres too. Which means another $1K of 'unrealized' expenses. With the Superlegerras previous history, I'd better play safe and keep the same amount of rubber between road and rim for protection. 17" would be too uncomfortable. At PG, no noticable advantage gained from 17"s.

Yeah, getting a cheap new one yearly will offset more than the calibration costs

It's supposed to be here in March. Anyway on my overnight trip to KL last weekend, I've bought a couple of toys. A high pressure jet washer and a 2-ton hydraulic jack, something similar to those used in a tyre shop but miniaturized. The jack's a steal at RM 69.90! TUV approved too! Got the stuffs from Carrefour, KL.
