Hi, I would like to ask abt the Garmin is it made from Taiwan?

Read from web, one user said it is made from Taiwan.

What is the your current Garmin set made from?

 

If it is from Taiwan, Think of ask my friend to buy for me from Taiwan.

 

by the way, any one experience the Garmin need to repair within a year?

If always problem then will be risk to buy from oversea.

1. How is the Mio C520 as compared to the Holux 55? Both offer Malsing Maps & Mapking

 

2. Can Jerome map be loaded on the Mio or the Holux?

Holux 55 $499 alot cheaper then the Mio520 $699

 

For Singapore, mapking sla map is more detail and complete then Jerome Singapore map.

They have a shop at Funan IT mall.

 

Just went during lunch.

Package includes 1 GB SD card, AC charger, Car charger, suction cup mount.

Hi,

 

Just like to ask a question regarding the use of GARMIN GPS.

 

How do you find out the coordinates of for example one of your favourite locations when you are not at that location?

 

For example, i went to the zoo and marked the location of the lion enclosure, but when i got home, i want to know the coordinates. How to dig it out of the GARMIN?

 

I'm using NUVI200.

my Nuvi 300 just went dead last month (after using for 8 months) after i did a firmware update using the web-updater software.

 

Can't power up at all.

 

Send back to AllbrightTech, they like quite reluctant to take in (keep asking "got illegal software anot .. if got they'll confiscate your unit you know? u sure u want to send in?")

 

I don't have any illegal software of course i want it to be repaired or replaced.

 

So far 1 week has gone, still have not hear from them. But heard they'll send back to Taiwan. And no idea how long they'll take to repair ..
