Yep. Thkx alot! Rotary rawks! Though the maintainance cost's high, it's just different from the pistons. Just like to be unique. Yep. Currently in SG maybe we have 13 or 14 of these babes left. So sad. But thats wad made it unique. New RX7? Where? Any news of it? Pictures?

Yup. All MCF members shall drive safely! Safety first!

Few more years before i lay my hands on the steering wheel. Soon, vry soon! My RX7! Haha!

Not to pull you down, but in a few years down the road, that number might be reduced to 5-6. All thanks to our taxing system that are biased against old cars.

So if u r thinking of owning any of the old school rx7, you have to keep your fingers crossed at least for now.

Welcome Eugene...the green RX7 u posted is often seen in Kallang area...

Overall a fine share of rx7 pictures. I remember seeing 2 older models in Bukit Timah parking right opps each other everyday. But I'm not into rx7s so i'm not so sure if its FD or watever. If i got the chance I'll take a pic of those 2 and show it to u. [;)] Maybe u can enlighten mi. [sunny]

Welcome again...

Yep. I think Singapore Poly hav. haha.

i dun think Singapore Poly is offering any Automotive Related modules.. but, the most closest 3rd year elective subject u can choose will be Mechanical Eng - plant maintenance, i think if not wrong, this elective subject is currently now a complusory subject for all Mechanical students...

i had the same situation with u when i was doing my sec sch... told my parent that i'll be better off going directly to ITE for the course i like....

wat i did many many years back is.... fail my o'level.... go to ITE n complete my NTC-2 in Automotive....finish my NS, go back to poly...

work hard for ur O'level, get into poly, go overseas like RMIT, Brooks Oxford where they offer Degree in Automotive Engineering or NUS where they offer final year specialisation

nope.. s'pore poly doesn't have this course as far as i know.

The closest course would be aeronautical engineering, which shares some basic fundamentals with automotive including principles of flight and powerplant.

Powerplant, if i remember.. 1st yr doing basic thermodynamics, 2nd yr Otto cycle and 3rd yr gas turbine.

if u know what i'm talking about, maybe u'd be interested.. but cut-off last i heard was 12-13pts?
