Robo 2nd Gear April 8, 2008 Share April 8, 2008 I am driving a 16 yr old starlet. got it last jan. initially the suspension system seems ok. few months later realised the car really bouncy and the car suays to the left. then the back left feels like its gonna break. you can literally bounce the car with 3 fingers. initially i tot aiya old car lah. but this year cannot tahan liao. got a 2nd hand 8mth old koni from a S-Team bro. change liao seriously the car feels so new. as i have drove a 2.0 mivec b4(in melbourne) this shocks the handling seriously can match. however i didnt change the springs used back the original 16yr springs. what i heard is springs will not spoil de. unless in an event of an accident. after market shocks can match the original springs but after market springs not recommended for original shocks. new set of koni with labour should cost ya +/- $500 ba. ↡ Advertisement
