Wah liew.. the new Spectra on the road I just saw today damn chio man! The Koreans are certainly making headways in terms of their design - catching up (if not) better than those Japs already.

 

Can't wait to see what Hyundai will be up to next with the Accent.

Yes, the Koreans did very well with the Spectra. Can match with the international leaders shoulder to shoulder (in terms of styling). Still not confident they are near Jap Standards yet.

IMHO, the Spectra H/B is much more of a looker that the Spectra 4-dr.

 

With BMW-Lookalike front lamps and strong bold bonnet ... yummy! and at a price to drool over ...

I like the Kia Spectra Hatchback also and that is why I have ordered myself one but the stock is not available for me though the bid for COE is successful for July 17 2002.

Yes, everything is good and fine.

 

Overall I can say is good and I am satisfied with this car, the air-con is very cold as compared to my sister's Mazda 323, strong bumper and nice-looking front light. Everywhere I drive this car along, most people will never avoid glancing at my car.

 

The most satisfied is the interior with all the luxury items found in most continental cars such as the sunglass holder and light near the rear mirror, drinks holder for the driver and front passenger etc.

 

Most of my friend told me that this car does not look like Korean car at all and from the look of the car, it looks more of 2.0 litre car rather than 1.6litre.

The Rio looks maybe flimsy but the quality as compared with the Hyundai Accent is so much better and the looks also better than the Hyundai Accent,

 

I pay $69,999 for my Spectra H/B which comes with Leather seats, sports Rim and Japanese tyres(yokohama) and alarm.

On paper, it's said to reduce fuel economy by UP TO 21%. Personnally, i have an reduction of bout 12%. It works like to energising magnets TB was selling but ran out of stock.

Yah man... lots of cup holders for pple in the car... 2 in the hand brakes area... and 1 cup holder on the driver's door and the front passenger seat door as well!! Unlike my Corona... only got 1 cup holder... *sigh*

Still got the speed adjustment for the wiper at intermittent speed, this feature can be found in continental car!

 

Though it looks like BMW but have all the luxury items in the car, most importantly, this car attracts a lot of attention from whoever who saw my car. Just like the Slogan for Kia : "You Won't Have To Work Hard To Attract Attention".
