Haha I hope there are some of you here that played with Ipod Touch and are good in Jailbreaking it.

 

I just bought a Ipod Touch 16gb with firmware 1.1.3 (4A93). I have read from many different sources on Jailbreaking and am very confused. What am I actually have to do so that i can add and changed the theme, play games and have additional application in my touch ?

I'm sure you could start off by googling how to jailbreak. There are many 1 touch jailbreaking software out there now. Just takes a couple of minutes to do it.

thanks !! but u r not stricted to any firmware right ? cos i read like for other software, u got to download to 1.1 then can jailbreak.

iLiberty can be used for FW 1.1.4. Just update to 1.1.4 before download iLiberty.

Alamak, wasted. iPhone 2.0 coming out in a couple of months liao. I'm waiting for it to be out. When it's out, i won't even need to jailbreak it at all. Plus got 3G and at least 16GB.

 

I'm so sick of my HTC Touch. Stupid phone.

Hi,

 

I have finally jailbreak my touch with iliberty. I even downloaded a whole bunch of summerboard theme. But how do i changed the theme ? I search around and dun seems to find the answer. I think I need some application to do so. What is it ?

 

Please help. Thx a bunch !!

I juz got 3 free iPod Touch (8GB)... Gave one to my friend, and have 2 more left which I haven't open.

 

I played with his and I think that iPod Touch is really like a piece of junk... [dizzy][:|]

Seems like very limited functions leh... Truthfully, I only played for it for ard 10-15 mins...

 

Maybe cos I am also using HTC P3600i... So, got such tots...

 

I think I still got 1 or 2 more coming... Sell away better... [:p]

Yeah I like the touch alot. Quite fun to me. But im still trying to figure out how to change the theme :(

iPod touch is but just a celebrated ipod with wifi + safari browser built in.

Not even a PDA, or phone or neither.

how can you compare to HTC ?

 

it should be compared to Sony Walkman, Creative Zen, etc.

 

the thing i hate about the ipod touch is, you cannot use the internal memory as backup harddisk,.. unlike the regular ipod or nano.

 

iphone 2 ... i am not so sure too... the multi touch interface is a winner... the safari browser is the best mobile browser i've ever used. Other than that, inferior camera, inferior battery life, mp3,...ok its an ipod. nothing much to shout about. Even if they build haptic touch screen into it, i would still prefer a physical numpad for a phone.
