Taking up MBA

I am taking a MBA now. Working in civil service. I am paying for it and I know it won't help in promotion or pay increment. Why I take. For networking and also to widen my horizon because I feel being in the civil service somehow limits my view and I needed to see more.

 

Then you should switch to private sector instead of wasting time and $$$ on a useless course IMO.

 

Public sector is well paid you know, it is useless for a senior civil servant to go private sector. Of course, there are exception. There is this Army General that joined DBS leh. I also have a scholar friend in SPF who quit and sell computers.
