Right, the device is doing controlling of ur R/foot instead of do it ur self.

 

Modern ride with latest tech can provide this by the R/foot control -- the panel already have "Eco" light to show if one is in or out of control during acceleration and running.

Good to see ur report on the trial of this device.

 

My opinion is : is about controlling of right foot.

 

The FD is iVtec ( combine of intellegent control of timing, acceleration and tappet control). So from throttle control by driver, the power & economy will respond accordingly with or without this.

The installation is boosting on power side as it pull the throttle harder when deployed and set to slower mode when go for eco...

Actually I do know of some rides when they WOT, the throttle is not really opened 100%.

Tat could explain why the P 3 works as factory want to produce eco car and tuned to lower throttle. After market boost it by pulling more...

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Basically it depend on the driver. You are right to say that it is up to the driver on how he/she is controlling on the accelerator while stepping on it. Light step will work like Eco mode, while heavy ram down on the accelerator will run the car like sport car. But this will take time to tune in and at time, while driving you simply will not be able to concentrate and thus having to use up more petrol. As for my case, I would prefer to let the Pivot 3 Drive to help control my stepping of the accelerator, thus limit my burning of the petrol. This will save $$$$ and giving me better milage.

You should have installed the Pivot 3 Drive and drive for a few months by now. Can you share how is it working in your car in term of performance and FC at both performance and Eco mode?

I am interested to install this but the price is stopping me. Want to hear more feedback from end user.

In case you guys wanted to know more about this Pivot 3 drive gadget, you may want to go down to Mcwell Ventures Pte Ltd to check it out. They are now offering it for S$408/- (include the gadget, Harness and installation) for the second group of 10 orders. My last check with them showed that one last slot for the order left . After that, the price will go back to retail price of S$448/-. So hurry man..................
