Epsilon 2nd Gear June 14, 2003 Author Share June 14, 2003 what the reason behind using attracting magnet closest to the engine and repelling magnet for the rest?
Lawreo2002 Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 ??? catch no ball leh .....how does it improve fuel consumption ?
Epsilon 2nd Gear June 14, 2003 Author Share June 14, 2003 I have not try it yet...so i dunno the outcome.....but i think a few of the guys here have tried it...maybe you can ask them..

Yttrium Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 The name of the coil you mean? It's probably some ferrous metal if magnets are able to stick to it.
Honzai Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 i also very swakoo and blur ... how does magnets improve fuel consumption?

Modeldriver Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 Haven't the faintest idea... maybe to make the 'magnetised' fuel particles go faster ???
Sfchung Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 For a given volume of fuel, there is only so much chemical energy stored in it. For a system to give a higher "power" or "economy" from a constant, the only logical deduction is that the existing system is not optimised to extract fully the available energy. Someone , the use of a magnet, is being offered as being able to enable higher extraction efficiency in terms of energy. Now, THAT part I am not so sure as research so far have not provide any real reason why that could happen. The closest thing of a plausible reason is the Broquet thingy as a catalyst. Now if this catalyst thingy works scientifically, there is no reason why the world's biggest car makers still have not stumbled on that yet and why the catalyst maker is still peddling their wares by the roadside. Makes sense??
Redliner_sg Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 Maybe costs? Or it could be admitting that their engineers dont do a good job, and still need to add after market mods?
Sfchung Neutral Newbie June 14, 2003 Share June 14, 2003 Magnets and Broquet catalyst don't cost so much lah! These car companies are so rich that they can gobbled up these after-market mod manufacturers without a blink, if they want to , that is. I mean, if these widgets do work, it would be in the interest of the car manufacturers to design-in these widgets into their cars. With the kind of resources available to them, it is not an issue. These car manufacturers spent billions in R & D every year. What is a couple of magnets and catalysts and Cyclone gadgets to them? You mean American engineers, German engineers, Swedish, French, Italian and Jap engineers don't do a good job???? One or 2 engineers, I can let that pass. But not the whole team!
