Jimmyl Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 Wah... those are pretty decent improvements ! But 9.5km/l on an Accent sounds kinda low.... it's a 1.5l right ? Yes mine's a 1.5 auto. Maybe the system itself was dirty. After using STP complete fuel system cleaner, seems much better. Can't wait to see further improvement.
Jimmyl Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 Aiya, imagine like this. The SFM works like a open book. You put a pencil in the centre and close the book. In order to hold the book in the closed position with the pencil in the centre, you use a wire tie to hold the book closed. The book is the SFM and the pencil is your fuel line. so according to the suggested method is book standing || followed by book lying down = then || then = and so on. That's the way. Bibill 1st Gear June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 Yes you are probably right that I should try out with SFM first. How do I know whether I am not getting "fake" SFM? Are SFM natural magnet or industrial magnet? How long can they last? Wonder if they can last at least 10 years without deteriotion. Also, is there a choice of the strength of the magnet? Cannot remember the unit of magnetic force already, is it something called goule? Any advice where I can get them cheap in spore or jb? Thanks man and woman... Jimmyl Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 Not sure if there fakes in the market but I doubt it. You checkout more here http://irdusa.com/home.html By the way, there are people who swear by it, others curse it. I like to think I paid money for something useful Singapore price in "black" market is about $40, check out the delphi forums. I am not making money out of this so take my advice with a pinch of salt.
Cool Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 If you want to save fuel.. go for SFM. OThers don't save fuel.
Cool Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 Jason, You want to PM me on the Apollo, it will not worsen fuel consumption but stay the same but you get more torque. Like the CarWash thingy, I am the old inventor here. Primara_CVT: Hi, it was your grounding that improve the fuel consumption.

Cool Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 From experience, SFM cancels out any torque devices like my Apollo, Caski and Broquet. If you really want power. go get a SAFC, with proper tunning. You gain more power. I have tuned one car (sunny) and now the drivers says the feel is like a stock corolla. INfact, he gain 50KM per half tank.

Cool Neutral Newbie June 17, 2003 Share June 17, 2003 All magnetic devices have a immediate effect. That is the drive feel will be totally different. Normally, I tell those who buys my apollo to try and feel it on the spot, if you don't feel it, don't get it. It does not take months to have the effect, the ECU adjust immediately irregardless of car. It is the same as pumping RON92 compared to V-Power. that is my take on real and fake stuff..
