Carlover76 Neutral Newbie June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 Brother, guess you are referring to Rain-X type of product, it is quite troublesome as you will need to re-apply after some times or you will wiper juddering problem. I used to have the wiper juddering problem due to Rain-X so now, I not going to use such product anymore.
Papajack Neutral Newbie June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 i used rain-x in the past and also encountered the wiper juddering problem...there are many products on the market so you can try till you find one that suits you...
Ken_leong 2nd Gear June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 Use duragloss #751. Its good and no juddering.
Tploh Clutched June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 used rain-x and siok when travelling on highway. But later wiper jittering problem occurs. so stop rain-x, but can't completely remove its effect from the wind screen. Then it becomes extremely annoying. Would not recommend you to use Rain-x. Oscar761 Neutral Newbie June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 Bro u can try glaco.. got it from autobac.. so far so good for me.. one more thing, make sure reservoir is purely water .. try not to add anything.. such as cleaner etc..
Scenic98 Clutched June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 guess can apply to the rear windscreen too....for those without wipers and also side mirror
Cklasse 1st Gear June 13, 2008 Share June 13, 2008 I use this too....good to apply all 4 sides, including side mirror. I cannot take it when water smear the glass and does not bead. Applying rain repellent helps in visibility, especially it is those extremely heavy tropical storm.

Aimnfire 4th Gear June 14, 2008 Share June 14, 2008 actually i found out how to get rid of the juddering...by accident of course hehe still using rain-x wiper juddering like mad after that then........i tired this i use the liquid tyre shine for shining the tyres and apply it at the wiper rubber blade. what do you know.........it eliminate the juddering problem but of course u need to reapply them after the rain stop so everytime wash car.....i will apply the tyre shine on the wipers

Swish Neutral Newbie June 14, 2008 Share June 14, 2008 Try Duragloss Rain Repel. Won't regret. Application is much easier than Rain X too. It serves as a glass cleaner also. 1 product, 2 usage. Cost less than $20. Got mine for sometime liao. Used on 2 cars, still have abt 1/4 left I think. This tells you how worth it is.
Chrisw55 Neutral Newbie June 14, 2008 Share June 14, 2008 Th Duragloss rain repel is good, easier to use compared to Glaxco and it does not cause wiper to judder. I had been using it for sometimes, no issue at all. The best is, can mix in to water reservoir. When I find it starts to wear off during raining days, just turn on sprinkles will do. ↡ Advertisement
