Must 2 pairs of tweeter be identical?

I need one pair for front and another for back, if not my back passenger will complain sound very muffled. Do I need to use 2 pairs of identical? or can I use different brand for front and back? I'm not very particular about sound, no great ICE, just something that gives out acceptable sound will do

Hmm...well, this is a "different" kind of question on ICE hehe...

 

BUt yea, you can use different brands/type etc for the rear....jst as long as at least the Left and Right ones are the same hehe...

 

But usually, for the rear, you won't use component speakers....regular coaxial speakers will do fine because coaxials have tweeters built in already.

 

But if you MUST, then yes, having 2 component speakers of different brands is ok
