Adwin Neutral Newbie July 26, 2008 Share July 26, 2008 Currently using Nokia ones which is too soft in volume for my liking. Heard that Jabra ones are quite good. Can share what headsets you are all using currently so i can source one for my next one? Thanks. ↡ Advertisement

Newbie123 Neutral Newbie July 27, 2008 Share July 27, 2008 I second the Jabra BT8040. I tried many BT headsets but this BT8040 is the best thus far. Alternatively you can try the Plantronics Voyager 510 as well. Very clear.

Xspace 1st Gear January 2, 2009 Share January 2, 2009 I am using Plantronics Discovery 655. I really like the ear piece portion, made of silicon and very comfy. It comes with a very COOL charger too, will blink when you plug ur headset in... It was retailing 200+ when I got it; it was a free gift from my SO. Blinky... Anyway I have 2 x Jabra BT620s. Who interested to buy? :P

Alcapone Neutral Newbie January 2, 2009 Share January 2, 2009 where did you buy your jabra BT8040 from? looking at getting this one also. lowest i can find locally so far is $89. I'm also using this. I prefer hookless BT earpiece, rather than something hanging from the ear. The Plantronic looks flimsy. Initially, the 8040 seemed a bit loose in the ears and there is a phobia that it might easily drop out, but it will stay firmer after sometime. The inner ring comes in 3 sizes. You can also listen to WMP, GPS voice activation too. Noise reduction and reception is good esp indoor, but it breaks out sometimes when you're out in the open. I cannot remember how much I paid for it at South Asia Computer. Challenger sells it in a pack of 2. Unless, you can find someone who wants to share the cost, it'll be slightly cheaper. Otherwise, don't bother to buy from Challenger.
Jc777 Neutral Newbie January 2, 2009 Share January 2, 2009 yah, i prefer hookless also because i am wearing specs, quite cumbersome with the hook. i saw challenger selling at $119 (member price), but didnt see the twin package. anybody any idea how much for the twin package? anybody interested to share? if less than $90/pcs, can consider. called and checked with south asia computer, they selling at $98 but no stock.
