does anyone know how much is it the cost of renting of a stall in foodcourt at a mall (around orchard area, suntec area,vivo city or even neighbourhood mall area) ?

 

no need to be precise, just approximately. coz its kinda hard to get the figure

when i ask the mall. im hoping to open my stall soon =) and i need to know so can plan

my budget.

orhard area easily 6-10k+

 

neighbourhood 4-8k for foodcourt

 

kopi tiam 1.5-3k+ depends but i encounter 8k for a chick rice stall b4..or rather 12k for chup cai beng...really nid depends the flow...5k for a kway stall also

how about something like food republic? i think its much better than kopitiam.

but i guess the price also much higher ><.

 

what else should i know about renting a stall at a foodcourt?

does it include kitchen? or totally empty stall?

any other additional charges besides water and electricity maybe?

3 month rental 1st

foodcourt think include kitchen but exclude those stall shelving,fridge etc

water and electricity pay ownself...but some may cover..depends

 

rough guide..ah ga for foodcourt..1 month + 2 assistant ,rent n food cost..12k is the least..quoted from a neighbourhood food court nearby mrt area one..hope it helps

They'll have alot of hidden cost .... which after they tell you everything ... you'll realised that before you exactly start business ... they already earn a big sum from you liao ....

i think so too. haha. but restaurant is just too big and cost much much more.

 

and i heard that food court operator not only get money from our rent but also some percentage from our profit. is it true?
