Pioneer 6050 DVD or Alpine W202 or 502

Hi,

 

I currently using Alpine9886 stock from KM. Normal CD HU.

 

I'm looking for a dvd 2-din HU, either pioneer 6050 or alpine W202. read from alpine website got another one is W502.

I am v satisfied with 9886 performance in terms of sound quality. But i heard if i were to change to 6050, the sound quality will not be so good. Was wondering that the W202 can match up with my current 9886 in terms of sound quality.

 

The other issue is i'm using USB loaded with MP3 to be played in my 9886. As for 6050 or W202, i;m nt sure whether i can just plug in my USB thumbdrive to play songs. I dun need ipod capability as i dun use ipod at all. With W202, can i use back my alpine cd changer?

 

There are a lot of processor like 701 which i duno wad is it for. can someone enlighten me?

 

I'm just looking for sound quality which is similiar to my 9886 and able to connect USB to play songs.

currently i'm using JVC 2din avx815 which is pretty gd and cheaper than 202 or 502 it can also display chinese characters which suits me cos i have many mp3 in chinese.As i had own a W200 b4 i can say sound quality is compatable and i do own a processor and a manager 701 it is mainly meant for tuning purpose.Hope it helps

I find the JVC AVX700 series sound quality no where near the Alpine W202E. Maybe their AVX815 is a big improvement in terms of SQ?
